DUBOIS – Students at DuBois High School experienced what it is like to be a part of the Air Force, taking a series of cognitive tests through virtual reality.
Enhanced Cognitive Human Ops, or E.C.H.O., is a recruiting experience that takes you through a series of interactive gaming experiences showing the skills needed to be a part of the Air Force.
According to TSgt Nicholas Holbrook, students went into one of 10 stalls in the E.C.H.O. trailer taking part in various reaction time, problem solving, and human enhancement skills.
“We are showing skill sets in the Air Force has and requires to the local DuBois Area High School, and their junior and senior students,“ explained TSgt Holbrook
Holbrook also told us that this setup is normally only used at big events and conventions, but they were able to set aside a day for them to come to DuBois.
