DUBOIS – The City of DuBois has chosen a new City Manager.
City Council voted unanimously last night to hire Joe Fleming through a months long search process and over 20 candidates.
Fleming says once he begins his first priorities will be building trust and relationships with city employees, council members, and the public.
“It’s a great relief, totally excited, especially to the opportunities presented to myself, but also to the excitement of the City of DuBois and how we can move forth in success and growth,” explained Fleming.
Fleming currently serves as City Manager in St Marys and has put in his resignation to begin his new role July 6th. His contract runs for two years with a starting salary of $140,000 dollars.
