Gurn U. Wachob, II, 70, of Punxsutawney, died Saturday, June 6, 2026, at his home.
He was born December 23, 1955, in DuBois, a son of the late Geraldine F. (Martin) and Lyle E. Wachob, Sr.
On November 11, 1974, he married the late Michele D. (Clemento) Wachob, who preceded him in death on November 17, 2015.
Gurn worked as a field service technician at FAMCO Machine for many years. He enjoyed motorcyles, farming, tinkering in his garage, and loved cooking anything he could on his Traeger Grill.
He is survived by a son Gurn U. Wachob, III, of Punxsutawney; four siblings, Lyle E. Wachob, Jr. and wife Shirley of Punxsutawney, J. Christ Wachob of Punxsutawney, Margaret Hudock and husband Michael of Rossiter, and Mary Allenbaugh and husband Charles of Charleston, SC; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Gurn was preceded in death by a brother David Wachob and a niece Coryn Clemento.
In accordance with his wishes, services are private and under the direction of the Deeley Funeral Home of Punxsutawney.
Interment will be in the Wachob Family Cemetery.
