DuBois, PA – Details are coming out about an alleged assault by a DuBois business owner that dates back to November 2019.

39-year-old Gong Yang Song, the owner of Fusion Buffet, is facing multiple charges in the case.

Authorities say that a female employee had been staying in a home with 11 other employees of the restaurant.

Although the victim had her door locked, she says that one night last year Song used a key to enter her bedroom, exposed himself to her, and touched her inappropriately.

Court documents say that the victim used a knife on the nightstand to cut her own arm, after which she says Song let her go and the victim went to the hospital.

She says she did not immediately call the police because she doesn’t speak English.

With cooperation from Penn Highlands and help from translators, the incident now has enough evidence to file charges. Song faces numerous charges, including aggravated indecent assault and burglary.

This is still an active investigation. Song’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 7.
