DUBOIS -A DuBois couple is facing charges after authorities say their three-year-old child was found wandering alone at a state park campground.

On May 9th park rangers at Parker Dam State Park found the toddler walking unsupervised through the campground on May 9. Investigators say it was the second time the child had been found alone.

Rangers and troopers returned the child to the family’s camper, but received no response because the parents were asleep inside. Authorities also reported seeing drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana in plain view near the camper.

Police say 22-year-old Gabrielle Frost and 31-year-old Dakota Younes told investigators they had seen the child a few hours earlier and did not believe he would wander off. Younes allegedly admitted the marijuana belonged to him.

A drug test revealed Younes had THC and methamphetamines in his system. Both parents are now facing child endangerment charges while Younes also faces drug charges.
