CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County has accepted a $315,000 dollar state Homeland Security Grant.
This annual grant is awarded through the Federal Emergency Management Agency which is then handed to the states to give to task forces designed to respond to natural disasters, terrorist attacks, and other catastrophes.
Locally this grant is used to fund water rescue teams, the drone program, animal rescue, and dive teams.
