Gary L. Wilson, age 80, of Stump Creek, passed away on October 27, 2026, as a result of a car accident.
Born on February 7, 1946, he was the son of the late Phillip and Donna (Gelnett) Wilson.
Gary graduated from the DuBois Area High School then enlisted to serve his country in the Coast Guard as a Yeoman.
On August 31, 1966, Gary married the love of his life, Carolyn (Kramer) Wilson in Detroit, Michigan. Carolyn survives.
Gary was employed at Jackson China, drove school bus and was a truck driver. He was a member of the Falls Creek Presbyterian Church, enjoyed bowling and taking his grandsons hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife Carolyn, Gary is survived by his children; Phillip (Jessica) Wilson of Stump Creek and Wendy (Lowell) Perry of Reynoldsville. Grandchildren; Glenn (finance’ Darcie Grenier) Perry, Travis (Emily) Perry, Katelyn (Mathew) Stewart, Brett Starr, Aidan Wilson, Damien (finance’ Kaitlin Shaffer) Wilson, Gavin Wilson (Daisha Martz), three great-grandchildren Madalynn Perry, George Perry, Elliot Wilson and two sisters; Carol Myers and Bonnie Gelnett both of Reynoldsville and several nieces and nephews.
At the family wishes, all services are private. Interment will take place in Morningside Cemetery.
