DUBOIS – Nearly $40 million dollars in federal funding will help transform the former Penn State DuBois campus into an advanced manufacturing and workforce training hub.
U.S. Senator Dave McCormick says the $39.9 million dollar grant will help prepare workers for good paying jobs and support local businesses.
The project also has over $160 million dollars in private commitments.
The center plans to provide advanced manufacturing research and development, hands-on training, and apprenticeships, while strengthening the area’s pressed materials industries.
