DUBOIS – A piece of history is headed to the DuBois City Hall.
During last week’s City Council meeting Mayor Barry Abbot said that the Daughters of the American Revolution presented the city with a portrait of George Washington as part of America’s 250th birthday.
“The DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution, has given the city a portrait of George Washington to be hung in City Hall.”
The portrait will now be hung in the DuBois City Hall.
