DUBOIS – Penn Highlands DuBois is being recognized for their stroke care, earning two awards from the American Heart Association.
The hospital received gold level recognition for rural stroke care and a Silver Plus award for treating stroke patients with Type 2 diabetes.
These awards recognize hospitals that follow the latest treatment guidelines to help patients recover.
