DUBOIS – This weekend, you can experience DuBois history during the annual Spirit of DuBois Lantern Walk.
The DuBois Area Historical Society board historian Tom Schott says you’ll go on guided tours around DuBois’ downtown featuring costumed characters sharing stories about the community.
“You’re out there probably about an hour. Get a little exercise, learn a little history,” explained Schott.
Tours leave every 15 minutes from the Historical Society on West Long Avenue, with tours running from 5pm to 7pm on Friday and 6pm to 8pm on Saturday.
Admission is ten dollars for adults, three dollars for students, and free for those in sixth grade or younger when accompanied by an adult. Reservations are available by calling 814-371-4627.
