DUBOIS – DuBois Music Fest organizers say this year’s concert series came in under budget.
Coordinator Dennis Skraba says there were 10 concerts scheduled this year with only one canceled due to weather, ultimately finishing $3,610 dollars under budget.
“I was trying to be conservative with the spending while providing, you know, good entertainment for the residents to enjoy,” explained Skraba
Skraba is requesting the same amount of city funding for next year, citing anticipated increases in band and sound engineer costs.
He also suggested adding food trucks to the park during the concerts.
