District 9 Baseball:

In District 9 baseball and softball, most scheduled games for Monday and Tuesday were postponed due to the wintry weather.

Monday’s Clearfield-Bishop Guilfoyle baseball and softball games were moved to March 26th, and Curwensville’s ball games with Harmony were put off to a later date.

This afternoon, they will try to make up yesterday’s scheduled softball match-up between Brockway and Keystone.

Penn State-DuBois Baseball and Softball:

The 2-and-0 Penn State-DuBois baseball team is is scheduled to play a pair of games at Kent State-Tuscarawas today.

Penn State-DuBois softball starts its regular season schedule on Saturday with a double-header on the road, also at Kent State-Tuscarawas.

Pittsburgh Pirates:

The Pittsburgh Pirates were belted by the Houston Astros in their Tuesday Spring Training game,10-2. Today, the Bucs are scheduled to face the Detroit Tigers in Florida. The season-opener for the Pirates is just eight days away. On Thursday, March 26th, the Bucs will start the 2026 regular season against the Mets in New York.

Pittsburgh Penguins:

The Pittsburgh Penguins conclude their eight-day, five-game road trip in North Carolina tonight. The Pens will battle the Hurricanes.
