DuBois Little League Baseball All-Star Tournaments:

The DuBois Junior Little League All-Stars and the City of DuBois are hosting the Junior League Baseball East Region Tournament at Stern Family Field in DuBois City Park. On Saturday, DuBois came up short against the Cranston-East, Rhode Island All-Stars, 6-2. This morning, the host DuBois team will battle the other Pennsylvania team from West Chester at 11am in the elimination round. Watch and listen to all the action at Tri-County – dot – TV.

On Friday, the DuBois Little League 9-to-11 year-old baseball All-Stars were eliminated from the state tournament in Selinsgove. The DuBois All-Stars lost by a score of 5-3 to Glenmore.

Pittsburgh Pirates:

The Pittsburgh Pirates were able to salvage one game of the three-game series against the Chicago Cubs at PNC Park over the weekend. Sunday, the Bucs held on to win, 8-7.

The Arizona Diamondbacks are in Pittsburgh for a three-game set against the Pirates, and game one is tonight. Tune in for the Pirates pregame show at 6:15 this evening, and listen for the first pitch at 6:40pm on Connect FM.

Altoona Curve:

The Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve split their series with the Akron Rubber Ducks. The Curve lost to Akron, 4-3, on Sunday. Altoona’s next Eastern League series begins Tuesday evening at home against Chesapeake.

Pittsburgh Steelers:

On Wednesday, Training Camp for the 2026 Pittsburgh Steelers begins at St. Vincent College in Latrobe. Camp practices and activities are scheduled to run through August 17th. The first preseason game for the Steelers is set for August 13th at home against Green Bay.
