State Police Release Skill Games Guidance

UNDATE D- Pennsylvania State Police are providing guidance on skill game machines as the compliance deadline draws near.

In June we reported that the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania ruled that skill game machines were considered slot machines under state law and gave legislators 120 days to create regulations.

With the October 14th deadline approaching, state police are recommending that businesses that have skill games machines consider how to get rid of the machines as simply unplugging them will not be enough.

They also say that businesses can contact state police for any assistance in removing the machines to remain compliant with the law.
