UNDATED – The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has ruled that skill game machines are considered slot machines under state law and now must follow PA gambling and crime statutes.
This decision could have a major impact on bars, restaurants, convenience stores, and veterans organizations that currently use the machines.
Now, legislators have 120 days to decide whether to create a regulatory framework for skill games or to allow law enforcement agencies to act on the new ruling.
