PUNXSUTAWNEY – A Punxsutawney man has been jailed after allegedly breaking a woman’s nose and choking her.
On July 12th police responded to a West Mahoning Street home for reports of an active domestic dispute.
Once on scene the victim told police that 40 year-old Bryan Buffington allegedly headbutted her, slammed her on the ground, and choked her before fleeing.
Buffington is now at the Jefferson County Jail where he faces felony aggravated assault, strangulation, and terroristic threats charges.
