DUBOIS – A DuBois man will spend up to one year in county jail after pleading guilty to stealing a truck in April.
Police had charged 29 year-old David Purnell with theft by unlawful taking after the truck’s owner found his truck being driven by Purnell.
Police were then able to use surveillance taken days prior to confirm the victim’s claim.
Now, after pleading guilty to Felony theft by unlawful taking, he was sentenced to spend between four months to one year at the Clearfield County Jail with three years of concurrent probation.
