Diane M. (Heffner) Foltz, 80, of DuBois Pa., passed away on Sunday, October 18th, 2026, at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Diane was born on October 20th, 1945, in Poughkeepsie, New York to the late Fred and Dorothy (Dunn) Heffner.
On March 20th, 1965, in DuBois, Diane married the love of her life Frederick “Fred” Foltz, they shared 58 wonderful years of marriage. Fred preceded her in passing on March 20th, 2023.
Diane graduated from the DuBois Area High School, class of “1963”. She worked B.F. Goodrich as a golf ball winder, and Wm. G. Jones Florist as a clerk and floral arranger. Diane was a devoted Christian and was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She enjoyed several hobbies such as going camping and dirt-track racing. Overall, Diane enjoyed attending her children’s, grandchildren’s, and great-grandchildren’s programs and sporting events. She also loved being a homemaker, feeding her family, and spending time with her family.
Diane is survived by her loving family, Children: Frederick “Rick” (Victoria) Foltz of DuBois Pa., Tracey Bachman of Wrightsville Pa., Marcie Caine (Mike McCool) of Brookville Pa., Grandchildren: Christopher (Holly) Foltz, Ryan (Amanda) Foltz, Brianne (Taylor) Johnson, Brandon Bachman, Shayna (Alex) Tegel, Sarah Caine (Jessie Miller), Great-Grandchildren: Cameron, Kelsey, Charlotte, Amelia, and Micah Foltz; JordiRae, Briggston, and Tenleigh Johnson. A sister, Darlene (Bud) Brown of DuBois Pa.
In addition to her parents, and husband, Diane was preceded by her daughter, Wendy Suzanne Foltz.
As per Diane’s wishes, there will be no public services. A private family service is planned for a later date.
A special thank you to Penn Highlands hospice team, Penn Highlands acute surgical unit, and the DuBois Nursing Home staff.
Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
