UNDATED – A new piece of legislation could address manufacturing worker shortages.

Introduced by Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson, the American Manufacturing Revitalization Exchange Program Act, if approved, would create an exchange program allowing American manufacturing workers to travel to allied countries for hands-on training and certification.

Supporters say this will allow Pennsylvanians to gain new skills while preparing to enter the workforce back home.
