UNDATED – U.S. Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson is backing legislation aimed at strengthening Medicare payments to community health centers.
The CHC REBASE Act would, if approved, update how centers are reimbursed, including establishing equal Medicare payments for telehealth and in-person care.
Supporters of the legislation say that this could help seniors and patients in rural areas access primary care services closer to home.
