BROOKVILLE – Properly investigating deaths and documenting evidence are key responsibilities of county coroners, and courtroom training can help ensure they’re prepared to present their findings in court.
That’s why the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office hosted courtroom training Saturday at the County Courthouse.
President Judge John Foradora led the program, covering evidence, documentation, courtroom procedures, and testimony.
Coroner Greg Furlong says that doing this helps ensure coroners are prepared to testify in court and present facts properly.
