UNDATED – A new piece of legislation could help Pennsylvania farmers and small breweries, putting waste to good use.
The Brews to Barns act, introduced by Glenn “GT” Thompson would, if approved, provide brewers with a tax credit for donating spent grain to local farmers for agricultural use.
Thompson says this would help farmers reduce feed costs while also supporting local breweries.
