BROOKVILLE – One of the highlights of the Brookville Laurel Festival takes place this Friday as young women from across the state compete for the title of Pennsylvania Laurel Queen.

Among this year’s participants is DuBois High School graduate Grace Reynolds. Reynolds was active in National Honor Society, Student Council, Hope Squad, Interact Club, and several community service programs throughout high school.

This fall, she plans on attending Slippery Rock University with the goal of becoming a second grade teacher.

The coronation ceremony is scheduled for 6:30pm Saturday, June 20, when the 2025 Laurel Queen, Alice Ravert, will crown her successor.
