DUBOIS – The DuBois Redevelopment Authority is working with the city to create new housing and additional parking near Showers Field.
Joe Mitchell with the RDA says the plan would exchange the Yeager property next to Showers Field for the Reasinger property along Oklahoma-Salem Road. With the next step including the construction of condos.
“The intent there is to build some condos to help with the housing issues that we are currently dealing with within the city,” explained Mitchell.
City Council approved drafting a resolution to move forward with an agreement, with a proposed two-year construction timeline.
