OLIVER TOWNSHIP – A Summerville man has died following a crash on Route 36 in Oliver Township.
Jefferson County Coroner Greg Furlong says 81 year-old Kenneth Compton was operating a Polaris UTV and was attempting to cross Route 36 when he was hit by a vehicle traveling south.
Compton was pronounced dead at the scene, with the cause of death being ruled accidental. State Police are still investigating the crash.
