PINE TOWNSHIP – Two people are dead and three injured following a multi-vehicle crash on I-80 Friday morning.
According to State Police at around 5:51am a Freightliner struck a container left in the roadway from a previous crash leading to them rear-ending a Ram truck and sending it into a Ford F-450 parked on the shoulder.
The report says that three people were injured and transported to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment, with two dying from the crash.
The names of the two that died have not been released at this time.
