PUNXSUTAWNEY – One man has been pronounced dead after a Friday morning crash in Punxsutawney.
First responders were called to the scene of a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Harmony Road and Adrian Road.
Police say that 89 year-old Andrew Meterko was attempting to make a left hand turn when he was hit on the driver’s side.
The accident caused Meterko to be thrown from his vehicle.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital where Meterko died from his injuries.
