DUBOIS – A DuBois woman has been charged for the overdose death of a man she was in a relationship with in 2024.

On August 10th 2024 police responded to a South Jared Street home for reports of an unresponsive man. The man, later identified as Bryan Cieleski, was pronounced dead from a drug overdose.

His girlfriend, 40 year-old Stacey Ellis, told police that he had arrived home later than normal and that Cieleski had not taken drugs in years.

In August of 2025, police learned that Ellis allegedly supplied the drugs to Cieleski the day prior.

At this time police believe that Ellis provided the fentanyl laced methamphetamines knowing it would result in Cieleski’s death.

Ellis has now been charged with felony criminal homicide, felony drug delivery resulting in death, involuntary manslaughter, and drug offenses.
