JEFFERSON COUNTY – An inmate at the Jefferson County Jail is facing charges after allegedly spitting on a corrections officer.
According to police, on September 22nd troopers responded to the Jefferson County Jail after 21 year-old Steven McGovern was allegedly combative with corrections officers.
When restraining him, McGovern allegedly spat on the corrections officer.
Now, he has been charged with multiple counts of harassment.
