RIDGWAY – A Ridgway woman is facing several charges for her role in helping a Jefferson County Jail inmate flee from his work release program.
We previously reported that police were searching for 47 year-old Daryl Goodrow after he allegedly fled from his work release program in DuBois on September 21st.
Police spoke to Goodrow’s mother, and operator of the vehicle that picked him up, 66 year-old Donna Sorg, who claimed she dropped him off near the Route 219 Pilot in Falls Creek.
Police then found video surveillance allegedly contradicting Sorg’s claims. After finding Goodrow and returning him to the Jefferson County Jail, Sorg is now facing felony aiding consummation of a crime, permit/facilitate escape, and hindering apprehension/prosecution charges.
