CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man is behind bars after allegedly trying to meet a “teenage” girl for sex.
According to police, they were given messages between 51 year-old Ronald McCormick and the group 814 Pred Hunters disguised as a teenage girl.
The messages allegedly had multiple sexual interactions including pictures between McCormick and the underage girl.
They allegedly made plans to meet at the Clearfield fairgrounds where McCormick was met by police. He was then taken to the Clearfield County Jail where he faces sexual assault, corruption of minors, and indecent assault charges.
