PHILIPSBURG – Two people are facing theft charges after allegedly robbing a Philipsburg Sheetz.
Police say on August 12th 47 year-old David Jalonski of Lock Haven walked into the store at 1:35 am and took a container with cash donations inside before fleeing into a vehicle operated by 36 year-old Melissa Ostrom of Morrisdale.
Police questioned Ostrom where she allegedly admitted to driving the vehicle. A search warrant for the vehicle where they allegedly found the donation bin and cash.
Both have been sent to the Clearfield County Jail where Jalonski faces felony robbery and theft by unlawful taking. Ostrom faces felony conspiracy to commit robbery charges.
