PUNXSUTAWNEY – A 22-year old Brockway man is facing theft charges for allegedly stealing more than $2,000 from a man who drove him to job sites.
State Police in Jefferson County say Jeremiah Blackburn admitted to them, and to the victim, that he stole two checks, forged a signature, and cashed them for a total of $2,400.
Charges of theft by unlawful taking, forgery, and identity theft have been filed against Blackburn. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 30th.
