Curwensville Man Arrested for Homemade Bombs

CURWENSVILLE – One man is behind bars after police allegedly discovered bombs at a Curwensville residence.

On July 22nd police responded to 432 Walnut Street after receiving reports that a man, later identified as 33 year-old Clinton Park, had weapons, including homemade bombs.

According to police records, a woman told police that she heard from Park, who used to live at the same residence, to gather some of his items. The woman told police she found a box with a gun, knife, and what appeared to be an explosive device.

Police were able to deactivate five explosive devices, they also allegedly discovered a sawed off shotgun as well.

Parks was taken to the Clearfield County Jail where he faces charges of having weapons of mass destruction, risking catastrophe, and weapons offences.
