ST MARYS – A St Marys man was jailed after police say he allegedly broke into a home.
On May 30th police responded to a George Street address for reports of an active break-in. Once on scene police noticed 45 year-old Eric Dippold nearby, who matched the description of the suspected burglar.
When questioned, Dippold allegedly admitted he was under the influence of alcohol and thought he was entering his own home.
Dippold has now been taken to the Elk County Jail where he faces felony burglary, criminal trespassing, theft by unlawful taking, possession of a controlled substance, and public drunkenness charges.
