Reynoldsville woman is accused of assaulting family member

REYNOLDSVILLE — A 40-year-old Reynoldsville woman is facing assault, strangulation, and other charges following an alleged argument that turned violent with a family member last week.

According to court documents, Kristy Wineberg grabbed, pushed, threatened, and pushed her forearm to the neck of the unnamed victim.

Wineberg reportedly became violent when she was told by her mother and the victim to leave the Jackson Street residence.

Wineberg is also accused of throwing her mother’s phone to the floor and breaking it during the altercation.
