MORRISDALE – A Morrisdale man is in the Clearfield County Jail after leading police on a high speed chase.
On March 31st police attempted to pull over 27 year-old Toby Chencharick in Decatur Township for an active warrant for failure to register.
Troopers say that when following the vehicle it allegedly sped off, passing multiple vehicles and traveling at high rates of speed.
Officers were able to catch up to the vehicle and perform a PIT maneuver and take Chencharick into custody.
In addition to the warrant arrest, Chencharick is now facing felony fleeing, reckless endangerment, and multiple traffic violations.
