UNDATED – State Representative Mike Armanini says that improving electricity reliability is among his top priorities for the final months of the legislative session.
Armanini told us that he is pushing for Penelec and FirstEnergy to address power outages across the region and explain what is being done to improve services.
“We need to address this with the public on why, what are you doing to fix it? What have you done already to start making more reliable electric in the area?”
He also says that Pennsylvania needs more electricity generation, particularly through natural gas, warning that the state could face future power problems without it.
