Hyde Man Sentenced for Motorcycle Theft

HYDE – A Hyde man will spend up to six years in State Prison for his part in the theft of a motorcycle.

On July 25th 2025 police responded to reports of a stolen motorcycle. After receiving footage of an individual exiting a white sedan and taking the motorcycle, police spoke to the sedan’s owner who claimed she let 36 year-old Tyler Timko use the vehicle.

Police then found the motorcycle on July 29th driven by Timko where they confirmed it was the stolen bike.

Now, Timko was sentenced to spend between nine months to six years in State Prison for felony theft by unlawful taking, loitering and prowling at nighttime, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
