DUBOIS – Today is the 25th anniversary of 9/11 and local veterans are reminding you to remember not only those who were lost that day, but the local service members who gave their lives since then.

DuBois VFW and American Legion Chaplain Paul Sprague says the events of that fateful day remain vivid even 25 years later.

“It’s just a memory that sticks with you forever,” stated Sprague

“They all gave their lives to help support us so we could have our freedoms.”

Today, four local service members who have died since 9/11 are also being remembered: Sergeant Brandon Reed, Sergeant First Class Michael Tully, Sergeant First Class Scott Smith and Second Lieutenant Chris Loudon.
