CLEARFIELD – A DuBois man faces a trial on nearly 300 felony counts of possessing and disseminating child sexual abuse material.
According to Clearfield County Court documents, 36-year old Nicholas Johnston is accused of uploading multiple child porn images and videos to a cloud storage company’s platform in 2025. Following the execution of search warrants at Johnston’s DuBois residence and a former address in Falls Creek, police say they seized several electronic devices. When Johnston was questioned, he allegedly admitted to viewing child sex abuse material throughout 2025.
Bail has not been set in Johnston’s case as he is considered a flight risk. Court records show that Johnston pleaded guilty to child sexual abuse materials charges in 2015, and he was sentenced to two to 10 years in state prison.
