DuBois Man Accused of Having Drugs During Traffic Stop

DUBOIS – A DuBois man has been jailed after police allegedly discovered drugs during a traffic stop.

According to police, on April 4th they pulled over 43 year-old Darin Cooley for an active warrant.

When questioned, he allegedly gave officers a fake name and claimed he did not have any form of ID.

During a subsequent search police found suspected methamphetamines; including some that were hidden, 11 Buprenorphine packs, glass vials containing testosterone and sustanon, a bag of pills, marijuana, burnt foil, and around $2,650 dollars in cash.

Officers say that Cooley was also showing signs of being under the influence.

Cooley allegedly refused a blood draw and was taken to the Clearfield County Jail on the warrant. He is also facing several drug possession and delivery charges.
