CURWENSVILLE – A Clarion man has been jailed after allegedly traveling to Curwensville to meet who he thought was a teenage girl for sex.
According to police, 31 year-old Seth Bechtel was in contact with the group 814 Pred Hunters disguised as a 15 year-old girl.
Messages allegedly show Bechtel engaging in sexual messages and making plans to sexually assault the minor.
On Tuesday he traveled to the Dollar General in Curwensville to meet the “teen” where he was met by police instead.
Bechtel is now at the Clearfield County Jail where he faces involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, aggravated indecent assault, and corruption of minors charges
