BROCKWAY – A Brockway man is facing several charges after allegedly leading police on a high speed chase.
On April 2nd police responded to a Hastings Street apartment for reports of a domestic dispute. Once on scene, police spoke to the female victim who claimed she was fighting with her boyfriend. While officers were speaking with her, a motorcycle passed by, driven by 20-year-old Chandler Nolet, with the boyfriend riding as a passenger.
Police then followed the motorcycle, which dropped off the passenger before police engaged. When officers tried to pull it over, they say it took off reaching speeds over 90 miles an hour.
Police stopped the pursuit, they later learned Nolet was the operator of the motorcycle.
When questioned, Nolet denied the allegations
He has now been charged with felony fleeing and eluding, reckless endangerment, and multiple traffic violations.
