DUBOIS – With the new school year here, DuBois School officials are reminding you that support is available both inside and outside the classroom.
DuBois Assistant Superintendent Lauren McLaughlin tells us the district will continue providing free breakfast and lunch for all students, while also emphasizing the importance of attendance and school safety.
“I’ve always told my own children that being a student is your job, and a part of that job is showing up every day, being engaged, and doing your best,” explained McLaughlin.
The district also gives students and families access to counselors and social workers. Officials also say that safety is a shared responsibility and concerns can be reported through the Safe2Say Something program.
