UNDATED – An area wastewater system is getting a $1.8 million dollar state grant to upgrade equipment and help prevent sewer rate increases.
The B-C-1 Municipal authority will use the funding to replace equipment at pump stations located in Blain City, Coalport and Lyleville.
State Senator Wayne Langerholc says the improvements will help prevent an estimated 38 percent increase in user rates.
