Last night, and for the second consecutive night, the Pittsburgh Pirates fell to the Brewers in Milwaukee by a score of 4-2.

Altoona Curve:
The Pirates’ Double-A affiliate Altoona Curve lost a 10-7 decision in Erie yesterday. Altoona held a 7-0 lead by the fourth inning before the Sea Wolves battled back. The Curve will continue the six-game Eastern League series in Erie with a game this evening starting at 6:05.
College Football:
The start of the 2026 college football season is now just a month away. The opening night of regular season games will be Thursday, September 3rd when Clarion hosts West Virginia Wesleyan and IUP plays at Ashland. On Saturday, September 5th, the Penn State Nittany Lions will host Marshall, and Miami of Ohio will play the Pitt Panthers at Acrusire Stadium.
Pittsburgh Steelers:
With six Training Camp practice sessions in the books, the Pittsburgh Steelers have released their first depth chart for the 2026 season. Veteran Aaron Rodgers has been listed as the starting quarterback. Rodgers is followed by Mason Rudolph, Will Howard, and Drew Allar at the QB position. The top running back on the Steelers depth chart is Jaylen Warren. Training Camp continues in at St. Vincent College in Latrobe. Just one week from today, Pittsburgh plays its first preseason game against the Green Bay Packers at Acrisrue Stadium in Pittsburgh.
