JEFFERSON COUNTY – if you travel westbound on I-80 expect some traffic changes beginning next week.
PennDOT officials say that beginning Monday November 9th traffic will shift onto the new eastbound bridge over North Fork Redbank Creek before returning to the westbound roadway.
The change will allow crews to demolish the old bridge and begin to build the replacement.
Officials remind you to slow down in that construction zone to the posted 60 mile per hour speed limit, and watch for workers and equipment.
This project is expected to be completed in the summer of 2028.
