DUBOIS – The DuBois YMCA is looking to move their free summer park program to the DuBois City Park for next year.
Executive Officer of the DuBois YMCA Scott Frano says that moving the program would make it easier for local kids to engage in activities.
“It’s a drop-off site,” explained Frano. “It’s perfect for the scenario for us, for the YMCA and for the City of DuBois. Second is if there is rain or different inclement weather, we can move right into the YMCA.”
This year’s program, held at Spider Lake, served 63 kids with over 630 visits. The program is free to all kids.
